i brought home a 20 mm lens for the break. most of the pictures are taken with that and a couple with a 55mm lens. bosco is very comfortable in front of the camera so there tends to be more pics of him than pixie.

i had my first photojournalism “assignment” the other day. i had fun shooting. it was also a good learning opportunity. maybe i’ll start picking up a few of these next semester instead of hiring other people to take them…

today is day 9 of 12 workdays in a row. it’s finals week so that means extra hours for me at the school. this type of schedule is normal for me at the beginning and end of the semester. i came in later today, at 9, and am working solo from 3 until 7 pm. i can handle it if things get busy but if there is too much bad attitude flowing around i can’t promise i won’t crack…i’ll try and be good…suppress the rage like a good state employee.

i have an ecology test tomorrow. it’s not a final in the sense it is comprehensive but it is worth 25% of my grade…yikes! after the last test with so much studying and no reasonable grade to show for my work i pretty much shut down. i can see how it’s a stupid rebellion thing but i cannot seem to overcome it. i’m still learning a bunch of cool stuff in class but i am feeing more uncertain than ever about passing this test. i have come to terms with the idea that i will likely not pass this class.

my eyes are shut, my fingers are over my ears and i’m singing lalalalala until the end of this week.
